Founding Team
Ray & Maxine Nelson - Founders Ignite Arts Academy Ray and Maxine Nelson have led Ignite Arts Academy in Cambridge for over 14 years, teaching thousands of children in music, drama, dance, and visual arts. With backgrounds in arts education in the US and New Zealand, they bring deep creative expertise and strong community trust.
Susanne Morgan - Co-FounderSusanne Morgan brought research, vision, and project leadership, turning a community idea into the first steps of a school concept.
Ashleigh Pratt - Office & Communications ManagerBringing clarity and care to our communication, helping shape how our story is presented so families and partners can connect with our Ignite Academy Cambridge vision.

Guided by vision and grounded in practice, they support teachers as creative designers and help shape a school where imagination fuels achievement and community grows through connection.
